release note
11/Jan/2008 | 14:54

Daring Fireball posted a snippet of the Interarchy 9.0 release note, and I'd like to say a few kind words to the developer who wrote it. First, the note:

Interarchy now has much improved resolution independence. If Apple ever get their act together and finish Mac OS X's resolution independence support Interarchy should be ready.

YOU GUYS SURE ARE CLEVER BUT I THINK I CAN IMPROVE UPON THIS MASTERPIECE:

"It took our application seven years to become relevant again, but we're going to knock another company publicly for being only 95% of the way there with technology that is orders of magnitude more complex."

A release note is not where you get to be Arrogant Developer Man and take shots at fellow developers. Does anyone think the RI guys at Apple appreciate this kind of junk, let alone respond to it? Whoever wrote that release note is an asshole and deserves to be called out on it.

Oh, kind words. Right. I almost forgot.
